Tirolina Ordesa Pirineos – A unique and thrilling flying experience with world record speed of 189 km/h

The Ordesa Pirineo Zip Line is a unique experience in the heart of the Pyrenees, framed at the entrance of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. With a height higher than the Eiffel Tower and a distance equivalent to 20 soccer fields, we will take you on a three-stage journey.

In the first stage, you will be able to enjoy the reception area and terrace with a zip line bar, which is located in the same place as the braking area. It also has a playground for children.

The second stage will take you on a 4×4 tour to enjoy the panoramic views over the Ara River and the main peaks of the Ordesa National Park, including Monte Perdido. During the guided tour, you can also learn about the turbidite layers that shaped the Pyrenees, which is why Sobrarbe is a Geopark. You will also be able to appreciate the autarky life and depopulation of the area, while crossing the Pardina de Asue, as well as the uninhabited villages of Solana and Sobrepuerto. The experience culminates at a spectacular viewpoint.

In the third and last stage, you will fly on a 400 meters high zip line, parallel to the Ara River, the Tirolina Pirineos. The flight starts at the point of the catenary with the steepest gradient, which will give you the greatest acceleration. As you fly over the terrain at a height of more than 10 meters, you will increase your speed until you reach the maximum user speed (110-160 km/h) and the world record of 189 km/h. To measure the speed, you will be able to observe the parallel signaling cable, with beacons every 5 meters. When you reach the braking platform, you will go from 60 km/h to stop in just 2 seconds in a rugby-style goal. This system is very progressive and culminates the experience with a photo at the arrival area.

The Ordesa Pyrenees Zip Line is a unique experience in all the territory of the peninsula, which will take you to the most important global top along with other places such as the Jebel Jais Word’s Longest Records in the United Arab Emirates, Toroverde Zipline in Puerto Rico, Stoderzinken Zipline in Austria, Pockara Zipline in Nepal and Zip 2000 in South Africa.
